[HapMap announcements] HapMap release #22 available (NCBI B36, dbSNP b126)

-- HapMap data release #22, March 2007, on NCBI B36 assembly, dbSNP b126

*New Genomic Coordinates.  *This release constitutes the first HapMap dataset in NCBI build 36 
(dbSNP 126) coordinates.  Genotypes and frequency data for SNPs remapped are now available for 
bulk download at www.hapmap.org/downloads/index.html.en.  These datasets will also be made 
available in the HapMap genome browser and HapMart utility shortly.

In addition, lists of SNPs in release #21a that were excluded from the current 
release #22 may be found at www.hapmap.org/genotypes/2007-03/excluded_snps/

Currently excluded SNPs fall in the following categories:

     Excluded_b35_drop.txt ==> List of SNPs with no position on B36. SNPs in this list will be 
	included in future remappings.

     Excluded_b35_rsmerge.txt ==> List of SNPs merged into existing refSNP clusters. In future
	HapMap releases, genotypes for these SNPs will be compared with those of their new rs#.
	Lists of merged SNPs can be obtained from dbSNP.

     Excluded_b35_moved.txt ==> List of SNPs with different chromosome positions. SNPs in this 
        list will be included in HapMap release #22a.

     Excluded_b35_strand_flipped.txt ==> List of SNPs with strand flipped in the NCBI build 36.
