[HapMap announcements] New HapMap Data Release (pilot data from
phase II)

Dear HapMap Annoucements list subscriber-
The first release of data from HapMap Phase II is now available.
This release contains data from the initial pilot work in Phase II
covering chromosome 2p. This data complements the previous Phase I
release (16c.1), and full data is available by combining the files.
Future releases in the HapMap project will contain genotypes together
from Phases I and II.
In total, 600,180 new genotype sets are available in this release,
which cover 54,016,200 genotypes.

It is anticipated that the next major release, with significantly
